Terms of Use
Draft — last updated 8 October 2026. These terms cover this website only. Not legal advice.
Who these terms are with
This website is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (ABN [ABN]), trading as [TRADING NAME / SUBPLOT] ("Subplot", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@bysubplot.com.
What this site is
The site describes Subplot's market intelligence services and lets you send a brief. Content on this site is informational. It is not professional advice, financial advice, investment advice or a recommendation to take any particular commercial action.
Briefs are not engagements
Submitting a brief does not create a contract or engagement. We review briefs and reply if something looks like a fit. Any paid work is scoped and agreed in a separate written engagement agreement before that work begins. Deliverables, fees, timelines and confidentiality for client work are governed by that agreement, not by these website terms.
No warranty on site content
We take care with what we publish, but we do not warrant that site content is complete, current or error-free. Markets change; anything described here may become out of date.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
Intellectual property
Site content — including text, layout, branding and graphics — is owned by us or our licensors. You may view and share links to public pages. You may not copy substantial parts of the site for commercial use without permission.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site or the brief form — for example by sending spam, attempting to disrupt the service, or submitting confidential third-party information you are not entitled to share.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING STATE: NSW], Australia. Courts in that state have jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable rights you have elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The "last updated" date above will change when we do.
